Peer Evaluations on tech fair 2016 term 2

Jana, Aya and Sireen's project

Their project was about a motion sensor robot car that can track you and follow you anywhere you go.I really like that the robot was following you everywhere you go except water.I think they need to improve on how that project could/might help people and explain how and why.I think maybe yes because it has a lot of tech in it making it really cool and it might and has a chance on helping people.

Riccardo and Evrard's Project

Their project was about green screen that can analyze the background.I  really like their green screen because the background can judge who you are for example if you are in court you could be the jury and if you were in the sky you could pretend to fly and be a superhero. I think they need to improve on putting special effects in their green screen.I think Riccardo and Evrard's project would definitely go to the tech fair because so far it is the most coolest project I have heard so far.

 Khrish's Project

Khrish's project was about making an online game in a site called sploder where you can save the game that you created and play it online where other people can play it too. The game is about shooting and capture the flags.I think what he can improve on his description is how the online shooter game that he has created will benefit anyone as in the cons it says that people might be addicted to it and not focus on homework. I'm not really sure if he needs to go to the tech fair because anyone could make an online game easily.

Salma and Chayeon's Project

Salma and Chayeon's Project is about a coloring or drawing robot that works on an engine that makes the robot move or draw but the robot only makes circles and doesn't do anything else so it is limited.I think they need to improve on putting more details in their drawing. I think they might not enter the tech fair because there are lots of projects very similar to their's.

Sam and Bassel's project 

Sam and Bassel's project is about a super fast car that can go 10 km per hour or even more faster.I really liked that they have created a different idea for the tech fair project since I didn't see any one's project which had a similar idea. I think they need to improve on decorating their design because their idea was just putting a base and an engine on their project.I think if there project was decorated they might enter the tech fair.

Presha's Project

Presha's project was also about online gaming but presha's project was about arcade levels with a back story about getting revenge and saving people.i think it could improve if there was more detail in the gaming itself.same with Khrish's project I am not really sure if presha's project deserves to be in the tech fair.

Christina and Marcela's project

Their project was about and was very similar to chayeon and salma's idea which was to create a coloring robot but this robot creates dots and circles when operated by will. I really like that they have the engine to create dots in their project. I think they might enter the tech fair because there project was a bit more superior to salma and chayeon's project.

Reflection 14/2/2016

My Reflection

So far for my tech fair I have done some research on my tech fair project and I have build some parts for my project and I'm nearly finished.So far since I'm nearly finished building the project I now just need to focus on building my tech fair project and making it work because I am building a solar mechanic but I need enough solar energy because without it the mechanic would not start moving around or vibrate. I have enjoyed building my tech fair because it is hardware and I really love building things so I quickly finished it with my partner Denis and he helped me with getting all the tools and materials while I get some information.Next time I will think about my tech fair idea and think of how it could work, also I will have to think about the types of information I'm getting and what type of idea I'm doing whether it is hardware or software.

My Group's Idea for the Tech Fair

Criteria A. Tech Fair

Nuclear Weapon Detector

 

 This is a Nuclear Weapon Detector which is made out of iron and is designed by Taylor Wilson. Taylor Wilson felt really tired of hiding from nuclear bombs so when he turned into a teenager he decided to create some sort of invention that could scan detection of nuclear radioactivity in cargo ships and trucks that are coming from outer countries into U.S.A. Taylor Wilson would first need the permission of the president so there was a tech fair for inventions in U.S.A and Barack Obama came to see his invention and how it works and said that he was the winner because his invention is going to be a big help to society. He explained that the invention would work similar to an x-ray to scan if there is any sign of nuclear radioactivity in trucks or cargo ships.

Reflection:I think that my research on projects that helped society e=was a success because it went accordingly as I planned so it was smart,quick and simple.
